Back in 2010, the very first final of the Gift of the Gab packed out the Cotton Club and we were gobsmacked. From our rather humble beginnings where we could, on a good night, expect 30 people, we'd grown considerably. It seems as if something about the Gift of the Gab has caught people's imagination. Last season (I just love saying that... it sounds so TV-like!) we raised more than 660 000 forints at the events with a further donation of 40 000 from THE CLUB, topping it off nicely at 700 000. All of that money went to the IHBC's Give a Little Campaign. And this season, we hope to do even better.
Last season (I will get tired of this in time!) we were hosted by Smiley's. A great venue that saw anywhere from 70 to 100 people turn up for the qualifying rounds. The final at the Orfeum sold out at 160. And this season, we hope to do even better, starting next week at The Cotton Club.

Come along next week - bring your friends - spread the word - pack the house - and do your bit for charity. Give a little ...
