Winner - Martin Zdarek

Martin Zdarek is the middle of three brothers and comes from the Czech Republic.
Successful business man, famous actor and sport hero admired by many he
is not, but it does not stop him from trying and failing. Celebrating two years of
living in Hungary, the time came to make changes and take on challanges. Martin has  ignored all the crises gossip and has started an ambitious year 2012 by launching a new
website Budaquest.hu about life in Hungary; he's also registered to compete in the Gift of the Gab and, who knows, maybe he will even win EURO 2012.

_Harry Harron runs a specialist medical recruitment business. The company has offices in Hungary, Romania and Poland. He is also President of the IHBC. Originally from Co. Antrim in Northern Ireland, Harry has been living in Budapest since 2005. He was one of the original GOTG contenders back in 2009/2010 and made an impressive appearance with a speech that is still being talked about by many. If you missed out first time, make sure you catch him this time, on stage, at Smiley's.

_ Norwegian though born in Texas,  Denise Cecilie Olimb came to Hungary six years ago to study medicine. Currently in the final throws of that journey, she is thinking about what to do next. Medicine seems so yesterday, so after appearing in an alcohol-induced GOTG dry run one late Friday night, she thinks public speaking just might be her calling. Her English is not so good, so when the feedback was 'You were ”Grreeat', she wholeheartedly decided to give the real thing a whirl.

Hans Peterson  came to Budapest for a one-month stop-over to somewhere else almost 18 years ago and still hasn’t managed to get to wherever that was supposed to be.  He was raised in LA, escaped from Minnesota, and studied in Salzburg. His extended post-graduate holiday in Budapest has forced him to teach English, manage a restaurant, try journalism, and often sell his soul to the corporate and political elite of Hungary - always with a smile.  On the bright side, film-making, acting, voice-over work, great friends, and the beautiful scenery of this amazing city are mostly what have kept him on this side of the fine line dividing the sane from the rest of us.

_Maj Bee was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. She loves to drink smoothies and eat bacon. She's been a nomad for about five years now, and promises to keep it up for a few more years.Even though looks are deceiving, Maj Bee is certified in a few different trades, has a Diploma and a University Degree.She is an avid frolicker, well versed in gallivanting and can wear glasses quite well.
